The Welsh poet, Dylan Thomas, when asked what compelled him to read and write poetry, said "because I had fallen in love with words." I too have had that same love affair with words throughout my life as a teacher, a poet, and as a reader.
It is my hope that this blog be a continuing conversation about poetry and writing.

waters wind down gurgling sound bound over rocks lap against banks transport yellow leaves slender twigs pedal boats float each moment held our life like flow suspended in time spent watching its mellifluous slow.
